Our Recent Work
Our latest film is centred on a little known episode in the life and work of Scottish poet and sculptor, Ian Hamilton Finlay. Whilst his construction of a poet's garden at Little Sparta near Biggar in the Scottish Borders is internationally famous, few are aware of the prototype of this garden, created at Gledfield in the Scottish Highlands. This film is currently being shown in Scotland and beyond and a trailer for it can be found, here. Other projects in the pipeline include an investigation into the worldwide success of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with 300 fringes 'spawned' across the world. And a film which tells the story of the last journey of Richard Demarco's renowned archive, from Scotland to Poland. Why did it have to move and how was it done?

The history of Edinburgh's Traverse Theatre is contested. The official story has American ex-serviceman Jim Haynes in the lead role. But Terry Lane, the theatre's first director, insists the truth is more nuanced.

Kurt Schwitters final Merzbau Project, the Merzbarn, can be found near Elterwater, preserved by the dedication of curators Celia Larner - and Ian Hunter, who tragically died earlier this year. The barn faces an uncertain future.
